FirstTech

The FirstTech section of FirstNet Adviser provides you with helpful information and tools from Colonial First State’s Technical Services Team.

Topics covered include taxation, superannuation, social security and general financial services legislation. You will also find client presentations, case studies and a library of flyers. This is a great resource for staff and client education.

You can find FirstTech links on the FirstNet Adviser home page or in the Product support top navigation menu.

My Clients

Appearing in the middle of the Adviser home page is My clients. Here, you can quickly search for any of your clients or link to the most useful tools and news relevant to your business.

You can search for clients who are in a particular product or fund/option by simply selecting the drop down lists on the home page and selecting search. You can also access the Advanced search tool by clicking the Advanced search link on the home page. This will allow you to search your client list by client demographic details or specific account details.

What’s the FirstNet Work in Progress tool?

The FirstNet Work in Progress tool gives you a snapshot of your recent FirstNet Adviser activity. You can see the status of your online transactions, insurance applications and requested reports.

How do I access details?

  • Reports - select the Status link to open a report
  • Transactions - select the Status link to see if a transaction’s complete, or to complete it if it’s still in progress
  • Insurance applications - select the Status link to check the progress of an application

How long will work in progress be visible?

  • Reports will be removed from the list after 15 days. They can still be accessed through the Reporting tab at the top of every page.
  • Transactions will be removed from the list after 15 days. They can still be accessed through the Tracking tab at the top of every page.
  • Insurance applications will be removed from the list after 43 days. They can still be accessed through the Tracking tab at the top of every page.
