Business reports

What are Business reports?

Business reports provide you with information about your client base, including the breakdown of your funds under advice, fund flow, insurance or revenue. These reports have been developed to save you time as well as provide you with valuable information.

Business reports can be requested on demand, either as a formatted report (PDF) or a data file (CSV). You can select the level of detail that appears in reports as well as how the information is filtered when requesting a business report.

What is Funds under advice (FUA)?

The Funds under advice reports include the sum of all your clients' accounts at the end of the selected month. This functionality means you are able to request this report at any time and keep up to date on the total assets you have under advice at the end of any month.

How is this report calculated?
By multiplying the number of units held in a fund by the unit price for the selected date. For non-unitised products, such as cash management trusts, the account balance is used. For products that do not price daily, such as hedge funds, the unit price will be the last available price.

What is Fund Flow?

The Fund Flow reports capture the movement of funds under advice for the selected data range, detailing the dollar inflow, outflow and netflow.

Inflow is defined as the sum of all account purchases (including re-invested distributions) gross of fees and taxes.

Outflow is defined as the sum of all account withdrawals (including pension payments).

Netflow is defined as Inflow less Outflow.

Switches between options and transfers between accounts are not counted within the fund flow report.

What is Revenue?

The in business reports the revenue report includes your selection of revenue types between your selected date ranges. You will be prompted to select these each time you run a revenue business report.

What is an Insurance report?

The insurance report includes details of insurance types and premiums for a selected date.
