Subscription Services

What subscription services are available?

The subscription services lets you choose when and how you receive your FirstNet Adviser reports.

Four subscription services are available:

  1. Transaction summary - a summary of your clients' transactions on a weekly, fortnightly or calendar month basis.
  2. Client list - a summary of your clients' details and value of their investments on a monthly basis. Details include account holder name, address, product group, and balance at end of month by product and total holdings for the investor. Joint holding will not be apportioned between investors; the full amount will be shown for each investor.
  3. Investor summary - a detailed summary of your clients' investments on a monthly or quarterly basis. Details include account holder name(s), product group, fund, unit holding, exit price, and fund balance at month end. This report provides an accurate picture of the total funds under management with Colonial First State.
  4. Confirmations - a copy of the confirmation document your clients receive after performing certain transactions.

What delivery methods are available for subscription services?

The following delivery methods are available for subscription services:

Note: You can set up your subscription to receive an email notification when your monthly Transaction summary, Investor summaries or Client lists are available for download.

How do I subscribe?

To subscribe to reports:

  1. Select Reporting from the top navigation menu.
  2. Select Subscription services from the left navigation menu.
  3. Ensure that your email and fax details are correct and click the orange arrow to update if necessary.
  4. You can set or change how often and in what format you receive your Transaction Summary, Investor Summary or Client List reports, click the arrow next to the relevant report to be taken to the Available report options page.
  5. Select the frequency for each of the reports and whether an email notification is required (not available for all report frequencies).
  6. Confirm your contact details are correct by selecting YES or NO from the drop down list.
  7. In the Delivery column you will see whether the report will be sent via email or will be available for you to download from FirstNet Adviser. Click Next to proceed.
  8. Confirm the details are correct by entering your PIN and clicking Submit.
  9. Confirmation of the details will be displayed. This can be printed.

To subscribe to confirmations:

  1. Select Reporting from the top navigation menu.
  2. Select Subscription services from the left navigation menu.
  3. Ensure that your email and fax details are correct and click the orange arrow to update if necessary.
  4. If you wish to set or change how often and in what format you receive your Confirmation reports, click the arrow next to Confirmations to be taken to the Confirmations options page.
  5. Select the frequency of the service.
  6. Confirm your contact details are correct by selecting YES or NO from the drop down list.
  7. Click Next to proceed.
  8. Confirm the details are correct by entering your PIN and clicking Submit.
  9. Confirmation of the details will be displayed. This can be printed

Note: If you select 'No' at Step 7, you will be directed to Contact details page where you can update your details.

How are my reports affected when a client has changed adviser?

If you have recently become registered as a new adviser for a client, you will be able to see the client’s entire transaction history.

If you have recently been removed as the adviser for a client you will no longer be able to access their investment details. You can however, look at a transaction processed for that client when you were registered as the adviser. To do this, use Transaction search to enter the transaction type and the date it occurred.
