What reports can I request or subscribe to?

Can I delete a report?

No, you are not able to delete a report yourself. Once each report has past the available period it is automatically removed from FirstNet Adviser.

How do I retrieve a report?

Reports can be retrieved:

  • from the Retrieve reports page,
  • via email, or
  • from the Data feeds page.

From the Retrieve reports page:

Select Reporting from the top navigation menu to access the Retrieve reports page. The table on the Retrieve reports page will contain reports you have generated or subscribed to (where you have requested that the reports are delivered to FirstNet Adviser).

The following reports can be retrieved from the Retrieve reports page:

  • Business reports
  • Client review reports (for more than one client, one or more client segments/relationship groups)
  • Scheduled client review reports (reports submitted to run at regular intervals)
  • Monthly Transaction summary (weekly and fortnightly Transaction summaries are delivered via email)
  • Client list
  • Investor summary.

You can elect to receive an email notification for all reports listed above except for Business reports.

You can download any report with a status 'Download' or 'View' by clicking the link. When a report request is being processed for Business reports and Client review reports the status will be 'Pending'. Click Refresh to update the report statuses.

To view a report, click Open when the File Download Browser dialog appears. To save the report to your computer, click Save. See help on printing the report.

Via email:

The following subscription services will be delivered via email:

  • Weekly and fortnightly Transaction summaries
  • Confirmation (with and without attachment).

From the Data feeds page:

Data feeds can be retrieved by selecting Reporting from the top navigation menu, then Data feeds from the left navigation menu. See help on what happens after you have request a data feed and how you download a data feed.

How long does my report take to generate?

The time taken to generate a report varies between the types:

  • Business report - your report will only take a few minutes to prepare. For a large report or during periods of high request demand it may take up to 15 minutes for a report to generate.
  • Client review reportfor a single client - the report will automatically generate and open in a new window in PDF format.
  • Client review report for multiple clients (including client segments and relationship groups) - your report will typically be available for download within 10 minutes. If you have elected to receive an email notification you will be notified when the report is available.
  • Scheduled client review reports for segments and relationship groups – your report will be available on completion of the daily unit pricing for all options in which client holdings are held (with the exception of Hedge Funds and DPE). In most instances, this will be the day after your report schedule date.
  • Pro Planner data feeds - will take approximately one hour to generate during business hours (Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 7.00pm , Sydney Time). During the busy periods at quarter ends, it may take up to 24 hours to generate your data feed. Once the file is ready for download, you will receive an email notification. If your file exceeds 3Mb in size, it will be placed onto a CD and posted to you.

Note: In the data feeds section you can register for preferred Financial Planning Software data feeds. Directly access our generic data feed “Pro-Planner” from Retieve reports within the Reporting section.
