Tips for reducing your file sizes

Please ensure that each of your individual file sizes is 6MB (megabytes) or less. The total of all your files combined can't be more than 10MB in size.

Here’s how to make your files smaller:

  • Reduce the image quality of your scanned document or image. You can do this by adjusting the dpi (dots per inch) setting of your scanner.
  • You can also try scanning your documents in a lighter shade.

Before uploading your scanned documents, please check that each one is legible. If you need help, you can call our Adviser Services on 13 18 36.

Which forms can I upload online?

We can accept most forms via our FirstNet Adviser e-Post facility. However, if we need to pass a form to another provider (such as super consolidation forms) please send us the original document in the mail. You should also send cheques in the post.

Please ensure forms are complete before submitting them, including any client signatures if required.

What file types are acceptable?

You can upload the following file types via e-Post:

  • PDF
  • JPG (JPEG)
  • PNG
  • BMP

The total of all your files combined can't exceed 10MB. Individual file sizes can't exceed 6MB.

How do I attach a form?

Please follow these five steps:

  1. Select from our list of accepted forms and save the required form on your system.
  2. Fill in the form and sign it using the Adobe Acrobat Reader Fill & Sign function.
  3. Login to FirstNet Adviser and navigate to e-Post
  4. Select 'Browse' on the 'Send a request or scanned form' page and select each file from your system. You can attach multiple files to a single request.
  5. If your files add up to more than 10MB in size, please submit the additional files via a separate request.

How many records will be stored in the e-Post Library?

A maximum of 100 records will be stored in the e-Post library at any time. If there is more than that number, the library will return the most recent 100 records.

Which OIN is displayed in the 'Submitted By' column?

It will display the OIN of the login which uploaded the document. This enables you to track and distinguish between the main OIN and any delegate access that may have been granted.

What is the reference number used for?

You can use this number as a reference if you need to contact our team.
