Step 4. Confirm Details

How do I change the information I have entered?

You can either click on the Edit link next to the validation or click on the link at the bottom of each section, 'Edit client details', 'Edit account details', or 'Edit transaction details'. Alternatively, click on the step that you wish to go to in either the top navigation or the left navigation menu and then make the change.

What happens after I 'Submit' the application?

After you submit the new account:

  1. The account will be entered into the Colonial First State system, provided that all the data you have entered is valid.
  2. You can view the new account in the online adviser transaction tool, with either a status of 'Signature required' or 'Awaiting payment'.
  3. Upon receiving the signed forms and payment the account will be opened. The status of the application in the online adviser transaction tool will then update to 'Open'.

What happens when I 'Save and exit' the process?

The new account is saved in the Online adviser transaction tool. The status of the account is 'In progress' and the transaction type is 'New account'. At this stage the account has not been submitted to Colonial First State and will need to be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
