At 3pm on 30 August 2023, we suspended transactions on the AXA IM Wholesale Sustainable Equity investment option. This means we haven’t been able to process applications, switches, rollovers or redemption requests received after 3pm on 30 August 2023 for this option.
Avanteos Investments Limited, as the trustee of the Colonial First State FirstChoice Superannuation Trust and in accordance with the trust deeds, will close the options on 28 September 2023.
Why have we closed this option?
We regularly monitor and review the investment options we offer to ensure they are meeting the needs of our members. The number of members invested in the AXA IM Wholesale Sustainable Equity investment option has not met a level of scale for the investment manager to continue to implement the investment strategy over the longer term. For this reason, we have determined that it is in the best interests of our members to close the option.
What’s next?
For those invested in the option, we will switch the value of your investment at closure of the option to the First Sentier Wholesale Strategic Cash option effective 28 September 2023.
If you are invested in this option and would like to reinvest this money into a different option within your FirstChoice account, please contact us by either:
- uploading the completed investment switch form online via e-Post in FirstNet;
- completing an investment switch form and returning it to us by mail; or
- calling us on 13 13 36.
